Bobby Unser was a dominant force in the 1981 IndyCar season. His son, Jim McElreath Jr., would also go on to compete in IndyCar racing, carrying on the family racing legacy. A tight wheel-to-wheel battle captured during the rain-shortened 1981 Van Scoy Diamond Mines 500 at Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania.
