I like to apply a thin coat of spray adhesive fabric tack glue first, mainly to affix the patch and prevent it from slipping out of the desired location. I use FAST TACK 87. • Cover the patch with a thin cotton cloth, no thicker than a thin tablecloth, to protect the thread embroidery.
