Indy 500 Culver Brick Racing Motor Speedway 1901

$95

This is a piece of Indianapolis 500 Brickyard history. In the early years, the raceway surface was paved with this special type of brick. There is no letter of authentication, but this was found in a heap of used bricks in a field near the raceway. These Culver blocks were made by the Wabash Clay Company of Veedersburg, Indiana and patented on May 21st, 1901.
