We acquired the majority of his photo collection after his passing. A candid pit lane photograph taken on March 25, 1979, at Ontario Motor Speedway in California during the Datsun Twin 200 race. The photo captures the focused, hands-on atmosphere of Indy car racing in the late 1970s, with the engine's intake trumpets and exhaust headers clearly visible.
