Interlagos is sacred ground. Built between two lakes in 1940, it is one of the few classic circuits remaining on the formula one calendar. It is famous for its unpredictable weather which has gifted heart-stopping finishes, such as Ayrton Senna's agonizing 1991 victory stuck in sixth gear, or the 2008 title decider on the very last corner.
