The 1983 Indy 500 was won by Tom Sneva driving for Paul Newman's team, ending years of near-misses for the veteran driver. We acquired the majority of his photo collection after his passing. The overhead shot gives a striking top-down perspective of the low-slung, ground-effects-era Indy racer, showing the full width of the front wing, sidepods, and rear wing assembly.
